Tektronix is seeking a Field Applications Engineer based in Bangalore to apply advanced electronics expertise across semiconductor and high-speed data domains.

You will support customers with measurements, analyses, and applications, delivering trainings and technical content while engaging with industry forums and key accounts.

Qualifications

• PhD/ Masters in Electronics Engineering with specialization in signal processing, photonics, VLSI or communications.
• 2-8 years of Industry/Research experience.
• Strong fundamentals in electronics, circuits & signal processing.
• Programming knowledge in C and/or Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for Tektronix instruments (Oscilloscopes, AWGs, Spectrum Analyzers) across semiconductor, aerospace/defense, and automotive domains.
• Perform measurements on high-speed serial buses (PCIe, MIPI, USB, HDMI, Ethernet) including jitter analysis, de-embedding, and equalization.
• Deliver technical consultancy and trainings; provide applications support.
• Create demos guides, application notes, and technical content.

Field Applications Engineer – Bangalore

Job Description and Responsibilities

• Technical expert for Tektronix Instruments including Oscilloscopes, Arbitrary Waveform Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, and their applications in Semiconductor, Aerospace/Defense and Automotive domains
• Technical Expert for measurements on High Speed Serial Buses including PCIe, MIPI, USB, HDMI, Ethernet and concepts including Jitter Analysis, De-embedding and Equalization.
• Responsible for Technical Consultancy in the assigned product portfolio and market segments
• Responsible for delivering trainings and providing applications support to solve challenging customer problems
• Create and publish technical content including demos guides, application notes, technical articles.
• Deliver Presentations and participate in Industry Seminars and Forums
• Establish strategic technical partnerships and build close relationships with key customers
• Capture Voice of Customer and share feedback on product enhancements with internal teams.

Qualifications and Competencies

• Phd/Masters Degree in Electronics Engineering with specialization in signal processing, photonics, VLSI or Communication
• Industry/Research Experience of 2-8 years.
• Strong knowledge of Electronic Engineering Fundamentals, Circuits & Signal Processing.
• Knowledge in programming languages like C, Python is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent documentation and time management skills.
• Capability of handling multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Self Motivation and self learning approach with Ability to work independently.
• Ability to travel for meeting key customers meetings.
• Position will be based in Bangalore
