Position

Field Application Engineer (FAE) – Indian Sales Team, Bangalore, India.

This role provides technical support to existing customers and distributors across Automotive, Personal Mobility and Industrial segments. The FAE works closely with product and system engineering teams, other FAEs, marketing and application teams to identify and communicate new product requirements based on customer feedback. Occasional technical product training for Allegro’s sales organization and franchised distribution network is also required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical value to Indian customers integrating motor drivers, analog and digital magnetic sensors, DC/DC converters, and lighting circuits.
• Support design‑in and technical closure activities in close collaboration with product and system engineering teams of relevant business units.
• Focus on distributor partner support, helping them develop electronic systems.
• Develop the best technical and commercial solution for each project.
• Identify potential problem areas and actively manage solutions.
• Maintain strong relationships with the customer base.
• Assist in developing responses to RFQs.
• Provide customer feedback to Strategic Marketing and System Engineering teams to guide next‑generation product development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in the electronics/automotive industry, preferably as a FAE in the semiconductor sector.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver high‑impact technical presentations.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and able to work with minimal instructions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CAD, MATLAB, or similar software is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Hindi.
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally.
