Job description

Overview

The candidate is expected to independently lead Financial Due Diligence engagements, including strong hands‑on execution of core FDD areas such as QoE, Working Capital, Net Debt and Cash Flow analysis. They should demonstrate end‑to‑end report writing and story lining capability, with the ability to translate analysis into clear deal insights. Strong client and stakeholder interaction is critical, including management discussions, issue resolution, and review of team deliverables while managing timelines and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan and execute end‑to‑end financial due diligence engagements.
• Perform detailed analysis of QoE, Working Capital, Net Debt and other financial metrics.
• Prepare data books, interim and final reports, and present findings to clients and stakeholders.
• Engage with clients, conduct management discussions, resolve issues and review team deliverables.
• Manage project timelines, quality and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with Managers to develop deliverables and mentor junior team members.
• Maintain awareness of market developments, regulatory changes and best practices in FDD.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2‑3 years of FDD experience post MBA/CA or equivalent.
• Strong core analysis skills: Net Debt, Net Working Capital, Net Assets, QoE.
• Proficient in Excel, Power Suite, PowerPoint; knowledge of Alteryx, Power Query, Power BI, Power Pivot is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience in report writing.
• Client‑facing experience with Indian clients and buy‑side/sell‑side transactions.
• Fundamental accounting and financial concepts.
• Ability to work independently and support team deliverables.
• Strong analytical depth and accuracy.
