Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Guidewire Developer II to contribute to development, design, testing and deployment of Guidewire-based solutions in our India delivery center. The role focuses on GW Billing Center, Policy Center, Producer Engage and Contact Manager components within A360 Guidewire Cloud.

Ideal candidates hold GW Certification, 4-8 years of experience in Guidewire environments and strong Java/J2EE/GOSU skills, with hands-on exposure to PolicyCenter and integration patterns.

Qualifications

• Total Work Experience: 4-8 years.
• GW certification required; PolicyCenter experience preferred.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, test and deploy Guidewire-based functionality across GW modules.
• Review and validate technical designs to ensure alignment with best practices.
• Analyze existing systems to improve efficiency and automate processes.
• Research techniques for automation and perform root cause analysis.

Team Function

Supports A360 Guidewire Cloud application including GW Billing Center, GW Policy Center, GW Producer Engage and GW Contact Manager.

Role Description

Farmers Group seeks an Guidewire Developer II to be responsible for the development, design, testing and/or deployment of system functionality. Specific duties include: code instructions for computer programs/objects/components in multiple applications; configure packaged software; provide expertise in the solution design and functionality of business applications; review and validate application technical design of team members to ensure alignment with business needs and best practice architecture principles; analyze and evaluate existing manual and computerized systems/procedures to improve efficiency; research and develop techniques for automation; document and implement programs according to installation standards and conventions; analyze and make recommendations on the need for system backup, security, restart/recovery, balance controls and recommend approaches for meeting such needs; and identify complex errors that occur in application testing and analyzing results to trouble shoot and execute root cause analysis.

Required Branch(es) Of Study: Needs to be GW certified with GW Certification. BS in Computer Science or equivalent
