Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated FastAPI Developer Intern to join our backend team. This role is designed for someone who is passionate about high‑performance Python frameworks and eager to contribute to real‑world, scalable applications. You will work on building robust APIs that power our green tech solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• API Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs using FastAPI.
• Asynchronous Programming: Implement async‑first logic to ensure efficient data processing and low latency.
• Database Management: Work with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and integrate ORMs like SQLAlchemy or Tortoise.
• Integration: Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user‑facing elements with server‑side logic.
• Security: Implement OAuth2, JWT authentication, and secure data validation using Pydantic models.
• Optimization: Debug, test (using Pytest), and optimize code for maximum speed and scalability.

Requirements

• Total Experience: 7 months
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in Python 3.10+.
  • Hands‑on experience with FastAPI and Pydantic.
  • Basic understanding of Docker and Git version control.
  • Familiarity with cloud services (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
• Availability: Must be available for a 6-month post full‑time commitment.
• Work Style: Ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative office environment in Salem.

Terms of Internship

• Probation: The first 1 month is a strict probationary period to evaluate technical fit and performance.
• Work Model: Strictly Work From Office (WFO).
• Certification: Upon successful completion of the 6-month tenure, interns will receive an Internship Certificate and a Letter of Recommendation (LOR) based on performance.
