Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy is seeking a Factory Manager / Plant Head for Baroda to lead production operations, drive quality, and manage maintenance and safety across the plant.

The role requires extensive experience in heavy engineering sectors (bearings, forging, flange manufacturing) and a Mechanical/Production Engineering degree. Strong leadership and cost-control capabilities are essential.

Qualifications

• 18–25 years of experience in heavy engineering, bearings, forging, or flange manufacturing industries.
• Degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production management across plants to meet output targets.
• Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure product standards.
• Manage machine maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Enforce safety and environmental policies and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate supply chain activities and cost controls to optimize operations.
• Lead and mentor plant teams for high performance and accountability.
