Job summary

Stonelam Surfaces Llp in Delhi-NCR is seeking an experienced Façade Design Engineer to design and detail high-end cladding systems for prestigious residential and commercial projects. You will produce system drawings, elevations, and shop drawings, using AutoCAD and related tools, and develop custom solutions per architect/client requirements.

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate with Mechanical/Civil major or Architecture degree.
• Hands-on faade design and engineering experience of 6-10 years with faade fabrication/contracting or consultancy.

Responsibilities

• Design and detail high-end façade cladding systems for residential and large commercial projects.
• Provide system drawings, shop drawings, elevations and detailing using AutoCAD and related tools.
• Develop custom façade solutions based on architect/client requirements, ensuring functionality and aesthetics.
• Coordinate with internal teams, architects, consultants and site teams for accuracy and feasibility.
• Prepare BOQs and material specifications; assist vendor coordination.
• Prepare structural stability reports for façade systems using STAAD Pro.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and detail high end faade cladding systems for residential and large commercial projects.
• Provide system drawings, shop drawings, elevations and technical detailing using Auto CAD and related tools.
• Develop custom design solutions based on architect/client requirements, ensuring functionality, aesthetics and performance
• Coordinate with internal teams, architects, consultants and site teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility of execution
• Prepare BOQs, material specifications and assist in vendor coordination
• Prepare a structural stability report for the faade system using STAAD Pro

Desired Skills

• Proficiency in Faade Design and Shop Drawings
• Strong understanding of faade engineering principles
• Knowledge of cladding systems and materials with practical experience in cladding design and detailing
• Good communication skills, ability to work effectively with cross functional teams
• Working knowledge of Auto CAD, Staad Pro etc.

Education and Experience

• Engineering graduate with Mechanical / Civil major or Graduation in Architecture
• Hands on experience in faade design and engineering of 6-10 years with any Faade fabrication or contracting company/ faade consultant
