Job summary

Raymond Realty is seeking a Facade Design Manager to lead the facade and fenestration engineering for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. You will bridge design intent with site execution, ensuring safety, performance, aesthetics and cost efficiency of building envelopes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• 8–12 years of experience in facade design, engineering, and project management with developers, major consultants, or specialized facade contractors.
• Deep expertise in curtain walls, structural glazing, aluminum window systems (uPVC/system aluminum), stone/metal cladding, and waterproofing details.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, 2D and 3D, MS Office, and the ability to read structural reports.
• Strong negotiation, cross-functional coordination, and vendor management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate for facade and window design activities between internal project teams, external and internal architects, structural consultants, and MEP services.
• Review / Prepare and approve architectural and shop drawings, design calculations, and material submittals for compliance with project specifications.
• Support the procurement and commercial teams in preparing technical specifications, tender documents, and vendor evaluations.
• Drive value engineering exercises to optimize costs without compromising quality, safety, or aesthetic intent.
• Oversee prototype testing, factory visits, mock-up inspections, and on-site water/air infiltration testing.
• Stay updated with local building codes, safety regulations, and global trends in sustainable/green building envelopes.
• Maintain corporate design standards and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for future projects.

The Facade Design Manager will lead the facade and fenestration (windows, curtain walls, glazing, and cladding) engineering function for residential, commercial and Mixed use real estate projects. You will bridge the gap between design intent and site execution, ensuring that all building envelope systems match the highest standards of safety, performance, aesthetics, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities1. Design Management & Integration

• Coordinate for facade and window design activities between internal project teams, external and internal architects, structural consultants, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) services.
• Review / Prepare and approve architectural and shop drawings, design calculations, and material submittals for compliance with project specifications.

2. Procurement & Value Engineering

• Support the procurement and commercial teams in preparing technical specifications, tender documents, and vendor evaluations.
• Drive value engineering exercises to optimize costs without compromising quality, safety, or aesthetic intent.

3. Quality Assurance & Site Execution

• Oversee prototype testing, factory visits, mock-up inspections, and on-site water/air infiltration testing.
• Monitor project trackers to ensure timely submissions of shop drawings, material approvals, and site deliveries.

4. Compliance & Innovation

• Stay updated with local building codes, safety regulations, and global trends in sustainable/green building envelopes.
• Maintain corporate design standards and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for future projects.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelors degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Architecture
• Experience: 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in facade design, engineering, and project management, with a strong background working for developers, major consultants, specialized facade contractors.
