Job summary

Role Description

The Façade Designer will work full time on-site at the Thrissur office. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing & detailing shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and coordinating cladding and glazing systems in line with project specifications and standards. The role involves reviewing architectural and structural drawings, ensuring technical accuracy, and optimizing façade solutions for performance, constructability, and aesthetics. The designer will participate in design reviews, support quantity take-offs related to façade elements, and assist in updating documentation throughout the project lifecycle. The position requires consistent communication with internal teams and external stakeholders to meet deadlines and maintain quality.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of façade systems with skills in Façade and Façade Design.
• Proficiency in developing and detailing Shop Drawings for façade projects.
• Experience working with external envelope materials, including Cladding and Glazing.
• Hands-on experience with CAD/BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) for design and documentation.
• Understanding of construction processes, building codes, and industry standards related to façades.
• Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
• Ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings, and resolve design coordination issues.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work to project timelines on-site.
