Job summary

JobItUs in Ahmedabad is seeking a Fabrication Production Engineer / Supervisor to plan, supervise, and execute fabrication activities including cutting, bending, welding, drilling, grinding, and assembly. You will ensure quality and timely production.

The role requires 3–8 years of experience in fabrication production, strong welding knowledge (MIG, TIG, Arc), sheet-metal fabrication, and solid production planning and leadership. Familiarity with Excel/ERP is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of experience in fabrication production, machine manufacturing, or industrial equipment fabrication.
• Strong knowledge of MS & SS fabrication and MIG, TIG, and Arc welding.
• Experience in sheet-metal fabrication and machine structures.
• Good production planning, manpower handling, and team leadership skills.
• Basic knowledge of Excel/ERP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily fabrication shop activities and production schedules.
• Supervise cutting, bending, welding, drilling, and assembly operations.
• Read and understand engineering/fabrication drawings.
• Plan manpower, materials, and production activities.
• Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Production, and Assembly teams.
• Monitor quality, productivity, material wastage, and rework.
• Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of fabrication equipment.
• Maintain safety standards and prepare daily production reports.
