Job description

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Fabric Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-scale data and analytics platforms using Microsoft Fabric. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data architecture, data engineering, analytics, governance, and cloud platforms, with a strong focus on building scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions.

The candidate will be responsible for architecting end-to-end data platforms leveraging Microsoft Fabric components, including Data Factory, Data Engineering, Data Warehouse, Lakehouse, Real-Time Analytics, Power BI, and OneLake.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-scale data and analytics architectures using Microsoft Fabric.
• Define the overall data strategy, architecture standards, and best practices for modern data platforms.
• Architect and implement Lakehouse and Data Warehouse solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
• Design and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration pipelines.
• Develop scalable data models and semantic models to support business intelligence and analytics requirements.
• Integrate data from various sources, including cloud, on-premises, SaaS, and third-party applications.
• Design data governance, security, compliance, and data quality frameworks.
• Lead migration initiatives from legacy platforms such as SQL Server, Azure Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake, and traditional data warehouses to Microsoft Fabric.
• Architect real-time analytics and streaming solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, BI developers, and enterprise architects to define solution roadmaps.
• Establish performance optimization, monitoring, and operational excellence standards.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architecture governance.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with data cataloguing, master data management, and data quality frameworks.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and governance models.
