Job summary

Wissen Technology is hiring an experienced F5 Engineer to support the engineering, automation, certification, integration, and maintenance of enterprise load balancing and DNS infrastructure. The role focuses on F5 LTM and GTM platforms, scalable network solutions, automation using Python and Ansible, and ensuring high availability for mission-critical applications. Experience: 5-12 years.

Mode of Work: Hybrid. Education: BE/BTech/ME/MTech in related fields.

Qualifications

• F5 LTM and GTM administration hands-on experience.
• F5 APIs, TMSH, iControl and iRules development.
• Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, BGP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS).
• Python automation for infrastructure management and certification activities.
• Ansible automation for deployment and operations.
• Linux command line administration.
• Load balancer performance tuning and high availability design.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain F5 LTM and GTM solutions for enterprise applications.
• Perform certification and lab-based testing for new hardware and software releases.
• Develop automation using Python and Ansible for infrastructure lifecycle management.
• Troubleshoot complex network and load-balancing issues as an escalation point.
• Work closely with architects, developers and operations teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Recommend and implement performance, stability and security improvements.
• Maintain technical documentation, monitoring and operational standards.
• Support DNS, traffic management and agile infrastructure enablement initiatives.

Mandatory Skills (Must Have)

• F5 LTM & GTM administration and configuration (5+ years hands‑on experience)
• F5 APIs, TMSH, iControl and iRules development for traffic management
• Strong networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, BGP, HTTP, HTTPS and SSL/TLS
• Python automation for infrastructure management and certification activities
• Ansible automation for deployment, configuration and operational tasks
• Linux command line administration and troubleshooting
• Load balancer performance tuning, monitoring and high availability design

Optional Skills (Good to Have)

• DNS, DHCP and IPAM platform engineering
• Containerized and virtualized infrastructure environments
• Distributed web application architecture knowledge
• Version control systems, CI/CD pipelines and SDLC practices
• F5, Cisco or equivalent industry certifications

Professional Attributes & Qualifications

• Education: BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Networking, Engineering or related field
• Leadership: Experience collaborating across engineering teams and mentoring junior engineers
• Ownership: Ability to drive end‑to‑end infrastructure initiatives independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with stakeholder management experience
• Analytical problem‑solving skills for complex production environments
