Job summary

The role requires 5–12 years of hands-on F5 experience, strong networking basics, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions in a global delivery environment.

Qualifications

• 5–12 years of experience with F5 LTM/GTM administration and config.
• Proficient with F5 APIs, TMSH, iControl and iRules for traffic mgmt.
• Strong TCP/IP, BGP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS fundamentals.
• Python-based automation for infra management and cert activities.
• Ansible automation for deployment, configuration and ops tasks.
• Experience with Linux CLI and troubleshooting in production.
• Design for high availability and performance tuning of load balancers.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain F5 LTM and GTM solutions for enterprise apps.
• Perform certification and lab testing for new hardware/software releases.
• Develop automation using Python and Ansible for lifecycle management.

JOB SUMMARY

Wissen Technology is hiring an experienced F5 Engineer to support the engineering, automation, certification, integration, and maintenance of enterprise load balancing and DNS infrastructure. The role focuses on F5 LTM and GTM platforms, scalable network solutions, automation using Python and Ansible, and ensuring high availability for mission-critical applications.

Mandatory Skills (Must Have)

• F5 LTM & GTM administration and configuration (5+ years hands-on experience)
• F5 APIs, TMSH, iControl and iRules development for traffic management
• Strong networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, BGP, HTTP, HTTPS and SSL/TLS
• Python automation for infrastructure management and certification activities
• Ansible automation for deployment, configuration and operational tasks
• Linux command line administration and troubleshooting
• Load balancer performance tuning, monitoring and high availability design

Optional Skills (Good to Have)

• Cisco or Arista network infrastructure deployment
• DNS, DHCP and IPAM platform engineering
• Containerized and virtualized infrastructure environments
• Distributed web application architecture knowledge
• Version control systems, CI/CD pipelines and SDLC practices
• F5, Cisco or equivalent industry certifications

Professional Attributes & Qualifications

• Education: BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Networking, Engineering or related field
• Leadership: Experience collaborating across engineering teams and mentoring junior engineers
• Ownership: Ability to drive end-to- end infrastructure initiatives independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with stakeholder management experience
• Analytical problem-solving skills for complex production environments
