Job summary

Hexaware Technologies is hiring a React Developer (6-13 years) for Bangalore. You will design, build, and maintain scalable frontend apps using React.js, TypeScript, and modern tooling.

You will work with product, UX and backend teams to deliver robust UI, integrate with REST/GraphQL services, and implement performance optimizations. You will also write automated tests with Jest, RTL and Cypress, and apply SDLC/agile practices while exploring AI-assisted coding workflows.

React Developer (5-7 Years Experience)-positions Required Skills

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable, and high-performance frontend applications using React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), React Hooks, Context API, and Redux Toolkit.
• Architect component-driven solutions and enterprise design systems following modern frontend best practices and design patterns.
• Build responsive, accessible, and pixel-perfect user interfaces while collaborating closely with product owners, UX designers, backend engineers, and architects.
• Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs/ GraphQL services, and microservice-based architectures, including asynchronous data handling, caching, and error management.
• Optimize application performance, rendering efficiency, bundle size, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Develop and maintain automated tests using Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, and modern testing frameworks.
• Hands-on experience in Prompt engineering with AI-assisted software development using GitHub Copilot/ Cursor AI/ Claude Code/ Windsurf for code generation, refactoring, debugging, documentation.
• Experience and knowledge of SDLC and agile framework.
• Nice to have skills
• Familiarity with Harness/Spec driven development, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD platforms for automated build, testing, deployment, and release management.
• Experience integrating AI/GenAI capabilities into frontend applications is an advantage.
• Experience with Micro Frontend Architecture is a plus.
• Experience deploying applications on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with React 18/19 and modern React patterns
