EY GDS – Data and Analytics (D&A) – GCP – Staff

As part of our EY-GDS D&A (Data and Analytics) team, we help our clients solve complex business challenges with the help of data and technology. We dive deep into data to extract the greatest value and discover opportunities in key business and functions like Banking, Insurance, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing and Auto, Supply Chain, and Finance.

Job Description

This role is responsible for building Data Fusion pipelines. He/she must be experienced in BigQuery to build DWH on Google Cloud Platform and to orchestrate the pipelines in Cloud Composer. They should have experience in Google Cloud SDK and API scripting.

That would be plus if they have knowledge on the DevOps activities and data Encryption/Decryption on GCP.

Responsibilities

• Build Data Fusion pipelines for data migration from different databases.
• Implement the pipelines in BigQuery to create DWH.
• Write scripts in Python.
• Orchestrate pipelines using Cloud Composer.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud SDK and API scripting.
• Provide advisory on technological aspects, pro-actively proposing alternative solutions, supported by a network of peers in the suppliers’ company.
• Ensure availability in case of critical issues in production (evenings and weekends). Proficient in English.
• Certification in Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer is desirable.
• Be a proactive team player.
• Experience in DevOps and Data Encryption/Decryption on GCP is a plus.

• Experience with implementing and testing GCP Services
• Experience with Agile and DevOps concepts
• Strong communication and written skills
• Experience creating technical architecture documentation
• Experience in Linux OS internals, administration, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps concepts Developing monitoring architecture and implementing monitoring agents, dashboards, escalations, and alerts.
