Role & Responsibilities:
Strategic Market Development
Identify and evaluate new international markets for organic grains, pulses, herbs, oils, and other products.
Develop and implement export strategies in line with the companys vision for sustainability and organic standards.
Sales and Revenue Enhancement
Drive sales initiatives to reach or exceed targeted growth objectives and revenue goals.
Leverage understanding of organic products and market demands to maximize export opportunities.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain robust relationships with international distributors, retailers, and other stakeholders.
Provide clients with detailed information and education about the benefits and quality of Shuddhagram Organics products.
Regulatory Compliance and Documentation
Ensure all export activities comply with international organic certification standards and local regulations in each market.
Manage documentation and certifications required for international trade of organic products.
Collaboration and Coordination
Collaborate closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure product consistency and compliance with export specifications.
Work with the logistics team to optimize shipping and distribution strategies for international markets.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
Monitor and report on international sales performance, market feedback, and potential for market penetration.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adapt strategies accordingly.
Team Leadership and Development
Lead and motivate the export sales team, setting clear objectives and providing training in organic product knowledge and sales techniques.
Encourage a culture of innovation and responsiveness within the team to meet the dynamic needs of international markets.
Product Adaptation and Innovation
Provide input on product development and packaging to meet specific international market needs and preferences.
Advocate for the continuous improvement of product lines and the exploration of new product offerings based on international customer feedback and market research.
Requirements:
Educational Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, or related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Additional certifications related to export management or organic agriculture are a plus.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in an export sales role, preferably in the organic or agricultural sector.
Proven track record of developing international markets and achieving sales targets.
Experience in negotiating and closing contracts with international clients.
Familiarity with the organic certification process and standards, both locally and internationally.
Skills
Strong business acumen with a strategic mindset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse international stakeholders.
Proficient in data analysis and performance/financial metrics.
Advanced negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is highly advantageous.
Knowledge
Deep understanding of the organic food industry and market trends.
Familiarity with international trade and customs regulations.
Knowledge of international logistics, shipping, and compliance requirements.
