To manage and complete assigned Medical Communications deliverables at high quality standards and in accordance with agreed timelines. Projects include manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slide sets, satellite symposia content, congress or advisory board reports, publication planning, and medical education materials for internal medical and/or clinical teams.

About The Role
Expert Scientific Writer
Location – Hyderabad Hybrid

Major Accountabilities

1. Demonstrate expertise in assigned therapeutic areas and products. Research and author original content for publications, presentations, and other medical communication materials based on client guidance.
2. Prepare meeting materials such as agendas, slide content, and speaker briefings for satellite symposia, advisory boards, and other meetings, ensuring scientific accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
3. Perform quality control checks and proofreading to meet client expectations. Effectively communicate complex scientific concepts in an audience-appropriate manner.
4. Adapt to different therapeutic teams and projects across multiple brands, interpreting and applying clinical data appropriately.
5. Collaborate with the team to develop realistic timelines, troubleshoot issues, and incorporate feedback from authors and clients.
6. Lead or participate in teleconferences, provide accurate citations, and support publication planning and research activities.
7. Work collaboratively within the team, support training of new colleagues, and maintain project records and compliance with SOPs and audits.
8. Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum science degree or equivalent; MSc, PhD, PharmD, or MD preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in medical communications and writing, with a good understanding of publication processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
