Job summary

NIQ is seeking an experienced Data & BI Engineer (7-9 years) to design and build scalable data solutions, ETL pipelines, and BI reporting. You will optimize SQL Server databases, implement ADF pipelines, and deliver Power BI dashboards for data-driven decisions.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders, perform data quality checks, and participate in DevOps activities to ensure reliable data delivery across enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• 7-9 years of experience across Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, and BI.
• Hands-on with SQL Server, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Power BI, and Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2.
• Experience designing scalable data solutions, ETL pipelines, and enterprise data warehouses.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, views, functions, and ETL processes.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Build and maintain enterprise Data Warehouse and dimensional data models.
• Develop Power BI datasets, reports, dashboards, and KPIs using DAX and Power Query.
• Monitor and troubleshoot ADF pipelines, SQL jobs, and Power BI refreshes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting/analytics requirements.
• Participate in code reviews, deployments, and DevOps processes.
