Qualifications

• BEng /BSc (Hon) degree or equivalent with 10+ years in design and/or construction planning.
• Fully proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Project on large-scale projects.
• Experience with contractors or project management firms and multi-project management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Program Master Schedules in Primavera P6 / MS Project.
• Update project schedules and prepare recovery plans when needed.
• Review schedules, analyze baseline schedules and updates, monitor delays, and propose corrective actions.
• Support in producing extension of time and prolongation claims with Primavera P6 program data.
• Prepare monthly schedule updates/reports and contribute to monthly management reports.
• Monitor progress to achieve milestones and provide executive summaries.
• Support project controls, scheduling, earned value management, claim analysis, and construction activities.

Job Description

This role would require to accountable for the production, review, monitoring and general management of time schedules, MIS reports and extension of time & prolongation claims.

Responsibilities

To develop and maintain Program Master Schedules in Primavera P6 / MS Project.

Responsible for updating Project Schedule and to prepare recovery plan when needed

Review schedules, undertake analysis of baseline schedule and schedule updates, monitoring of schedule delays, Suggest corrective and mitigation actions

Support in producing extension of time and prolongation claims by providing the required Primavera P6 program to support our submissions

Preparing Monthly Schedule updates/reports and contributing in preparation of monthly reports

Monitor and control the progress of work to be adhered to the planned schedule and achieving project milestone

Generate executive summary reports for higher management

Provide support in the areas of project controls, scheduling, scheduling analysis, earned value management, claim analysis and construction activities in support of the program

Ensure proactive project planning, stakeholder and risk management takes place across projects

Accountable for identifying the major milestones to be attained through the Program/Projects completion

Oversee construction schedule, perform special analysis for resource loading and performance progress

Mandatory Skills

Fully proficient with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project

Good knowledge and experience of the project lifecycle and able to correlate Construction Activities with planning, and schedule control

To have experience working for/ or with contractors or project management companies and can manage multiple projects simultaneously

To be confident presenting to all stakeholders including contractors and clients

Strong English language proficiency and communication skills

• Experience in large-scale desalination projects and combined-cycle power plant projects
• Exposure to projects in the Middle East region and Awareness of Middle East project execution processes

High proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Qualifications

BEng /BSc (Hon) degree or equivalent and have 10+ years post graduate experience in design and/ or construction project planning or planning related functions.
