Job summary

EY in India (Trivandrum/Kochi) seeks an Experience Designer / Senior Associate for the GDS MENA People Consulting Design Theatre to craft immersive digital sessions and branded materials.

You’ll collaborate with the Experience Leader and client teams to define strategy, communicate complex concepts with sketches, wireframes and prototypes, and lead workshops that translate needs into design solutions for global projects.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree preferred; 7+ years professional experience in UX/Product/Visual design.
• Experience in consulting or CX practice in a Fortune 500 firm or agency.
• Cross-functional collaboration with internal and 3rd party development teams and project management.
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Axure, Mural, InVision, Keynote, OmniGraffle, Sketch or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce digital content and branded materials for interactive sessions.
• Define strategy and design for customer experience with the Experience team.
• Support clients in using collaboration software in the client experience.
• Provide ideas on client challenges including industry trends and UX.
• Explain complex concepts with sketches, mood boards, wireframes, prototypes and data visualizations.
• Collaborate to take on new challenges and develop skills by ownership of tasks.
• Help lead workshops to understand needs and articulate vision and design strategies.

EY GDS MENA People Consulting Design Theatre: Experience Designer / Senior Associate

The opportunity

We are looking for an Experience Designer for EY MENA People Consulting Design Theatre team, in our Trivandrum/Kochi office.

Design Theatre is about people and business outcomes. We design immersive programs that bring the right people together, giving them the mindset and collaborative tools to think differently. These days we are doing this both virtually and in-person for clients around the world.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce digital content and branded materials that support interactive sessions
• Working with the Experience Leader/Manager, define strategy and design for customer experience, working closely with the Experience team to devise strategic solutions based on multiple forms and research and analysis
• Support clients in the use of collaboration software being used in the client experience
• Offer ideas on how to approach client challenges including industry trends and user experience
• Communicate complex technical concepts simply and effectively to all audiences using sketches, storytelling, mood boards/storyboards, wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and/or data visualizations
• Take a collaborative approach to work, with motivation to develop your skills by taking ownership of new challenges and have a genuine interest in solving complex business problems
• Help lead workshops with clients to understand needs, articulate vision, and support design strategies and experiences that meet their vision and needs

Skills And Attributes For Success

• Experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and various collaboration software including Mural, Miro, white board etc.
• Skills to Visualize, draw, create meaningful documents, presentations etc.
• Experience with photography and video production
• Ability to live-scribe / sketchnote
• Understanding of design thinking approach and working on agile teams

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Advanced degree preferred, 7+ years professional experience in User Experience Design/ Product Design, or Visual Design.
• Past experience in consulting, CX Practice in a Fortune 500 firm, or agency in a media management or digital creative experience in a client facing role.
• Cross-functional experience working with both internal and 3rd party development teams and project management experience working with both creative agencies, brands or in a consulting capacity. Experience interfacing with clients and Rich Media Vendors.
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Axure, Mural, InVision, Keynote, OmniGraffle, Sketch or other design technologies.
