Job summary

Xplor Technologies powers experiences across fitness, recreation and membership industries. Exerp is one of its brands and is hiring a QA Engineer II to enhance quality across ERP-style applications.

You will write and execute test scripts for new features, maintain test plans, and drive quality improvements. Strong collaboration with product managers, developers and QA peers is essential, as is hands‑on testing and automation knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of manual testing experience with understanding of test automation.
• Ability to analyze requirements and identify gaps in test coverage.
• Solid experience in writing, executing, and reviewing test cases.
• Experience supporting complex ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies and defect lifecycle.
• Knowledge of version control and build tools (Git, Maven/Gradle).
• Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of database SQL is a plus.
• Health and Fitness industry experience is a plus.

• Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios to validate software functionality, performance, and security.

• Analyze test results and quality metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements to testing processes, methodologies, and tools.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between testing activities and project goals.

Purpose

As a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer, you will be essential to all aspects of quality assurance and testing processes within our organization. Leveraging your experience and expertise in software quality, you will help define and implement strategic initiatives to enhance product quality, improve testing efficiency, and drive continuous improvement. You will be part of one of our software engineering teams where you will be writing and executing the test scripts for the new features that the team is responsible for. You will help ensure the quality and understanding of often complex business requirements. Additionally, you will be part of our QA community that continuously assesses the current state of the system and is driving the strategy for QA going forward, including both how to test already existing functionality, and how to ensure proper QA on future development (incl. the tools and practices used for testing).

Key Responsibilities

Experience And Skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience in manual testing and understanding of test automation.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze requirements and identify gaps in test coverage.
• Manual Testing: Solid experience in writing, executing, and reviewing test cases.
• Experience supporting complex ERP systems.
• QA Process Knowledge: Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies and defect lifecycle.
• Knowledge of version control and build management tools (Git, Maven/Gradle).
• CI/CD & Tools: Exposure to Jenkins, GitHub Actions or similar.
• Hardware peripherals and network troubleshooting.
• Automation Expertise: knowledge of Java, Cucumber, BDD, and Gherkin is a plus.
• Experience in implementing automation test cases is a plus.Database Knowledge: Proficiency in SQL is a plus.
• Knowledge or experience of the Health and Fitness industry is a plus.
