Job summary

Smytten is seeking a supply planning professional in India to own end-to-end planning for 1000+ SKUs across beauty and personal care. The role emphasizes integrating forecasts, inventory, and sourcing to meet demand volatility.

You will develop 13-week plans, work with Demand Planning, Procurement, and Logistics to resolve shortages, and monitor key KPIs. The position offers a hybrid work model with core on-site days and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Must be proficient in Excel advanced features like VLOOKUP, PivotTables and Macros.
• Ability to analyze forecast error and improve accuracy.
• Experience with statistical forecasting methods such as moving average and exponential smoothing.
• Experience in replenishment modeling to optimize stock levels.
• Familiarity with supply chain KPIs like DOH and OTIF.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end supply planning for 1000+ SKUs across beauty, fragrance, and personal care.
• Develop and maintain rolling 13-week supply plans.
• Collaborate with Demand Planning, Procurement, Logistics to resolve shortages.
• Monitor inventory KPIs and trigger corrective actions.
• Automate data workflows using Excel macros or Power BI dashboards.
• Support S&OP meetings with scenario planning and action plans.

Operating across 1000+ SKUs and 50+ brands, we’re building a responsive, predictive planning engine to eliminate stockouts, optimize warehouse throughput, and fuel double-digit growth—backed by real-time demand signals and AI-enhanced forecasting.

• Own end-to-end supply planning for 1000+ SKUs across beauty, fragrance, and personal care categories—aligning forecast, inventory, and sourcing to meet demand volatility.
• Develop and maintain rolling 13-week supply plans, integrating sales forecasts with supplier lead times, MOQs, and warehouse capacity constraints.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Demand Planning, Procurement, and Logistics to resolve shortages, manage pipeline visibility, and reduce dead stock.
• Monitor inventory KPIs (DOH, stockout rate, excess aging) and trigger corrective actions using ERP alerts and replenishment algorithms.
• Automate data workflows using Excel macros or Power BI dashboards to surface supply risks and opportunities for category managers.
• Support S&OP meetings with scenario planning outputs, supply gap analyses, and recommended action plans for leadership.
