Job summary

Zydus Takeda Healthcare Private Limited in Navi Mumbai is seeking an Executive / Senior Officer for the Manufacturing Plant. You will plan batches, supervise shifts and ensure adherence to BMR and GMP standards.

Role requires 5–6 years in manufacturing, BE/BTech in chemical engineering, and SAP/DCS/DLS proficiency. Safety and ISO/GMP readiness are essential as are strong documentation practices.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from reputed institute.
• Minimum 5–6 years in a manufacturing plant.
• Experience with batch planning, BMR/BPR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Plan batches per monthly schedules; supervise shop floor to ensure BMR compliance.
• Raise SAP requests to ensure raw/material availability and maintain yield/quality.
• Prepare/update BMR/BPR, cleaning records, SOPs; submit to QA on time.
• Coordinate with Eng, IPQC, Warehouse for smooth plant operations and IPQC checks.
• Enter SAP data for running batches; track purchase requisitions.
• Report deviations, raise change controls, supervise hazardous waste disposal.
• Enforce safety protocols; manage PPE inventory; report incidents.
• Raise work permits for maintenance; ensure safe plant operations on weekends/holidays.
• Approve leaves, shifts, overtime; conduct training on production, cGMP, safety.
• Assist ISO/GMP audits and support EHS systems (ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001).
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping for safe, compliant environment.

Hiring for Executive / Senior Officer -Manufacturing Plant

Qualification: B.E / B.Tech. - Chemical Engineering preferably from reputed institutes

Experience: Minimum 5 to 6 years in manufacturing Plant

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan batches as per monthly production schedules, allocate jobs across shifts, and supervise shop floor activities to ensure compliance with batch manufacturing records (BMR).
• Ensure timely availability of raw and packaging materials by raising SAP requests, verifying received quantities, and maintaining proper yield and quality at all stages of production.
• Prepare, update, and maintain BMR, BPR, cleaning records, equipment logs, SOPs, and other production-related documents, ensuring submission to QA on time.
• Coordinate with departments (Engineering, IPQC, warehouse) to ensure smooth plant operations and verify in-process sample results (IPQC).
• Manage and complete SAP-related entries for running batches in shift, including creation and tracking of purchase requisitions.
• Report process deviations, raise necessary change controls, and supervise proper hazardous waste disposal to ensure compliance.
• Enforce safety protocols for personnel, maintain inventory of PPEs, and report incidents/accidents to the plant in-charge.
• Raise and follow up on work permits for maintenance and ensure safe opening and closing of the plant on weekends and holidays.
• Approve leave, shift changes, and overtime for production staff while conducting training sessions on production, cGMP, and safety.
• Assist in preparations for ISO/GMP/stock audits and support EHS management systems (ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001) to ensure environmental and safety compliance.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards in the plant to ensure an efficient, safe, and compliant work environment.

Technical Competencies:

• Proficient in operating key equipment (reaction, distillation, crystallization, filtration, drying) and plant SOPs; expert in API manufacturing, process monitoring, and quality compliance.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, documentation, change control, deviations, CAPA, and validation processes (OQ, PQ, re-qualification, process and cleaning validation).
• Advanced user of SAP PP, DCS, DLS, MS Office; skilled in team scheduling, shift management, and organizing raw material/process tracking.
• Well-versed in safety protocols, ISO 14001/45001 compliance, work permits, and ensuring safety during batch manufacturing and in controlled areas.
