Job summary

Alembic Pharmaceuticals Limited is seeking a process engineer to analyze existing processes, identify gaps, and contribute to scale-up and tech transfer activities. The role involves mass/energy balances, hydraulic calculations, and equipment design considerations.

Familiarity with PFD, P&ID, HAZOP/JSA/HIRA and SAP is valued for successful collaboration in project teams. Proficiency in design tools like Chem Cad and Auto CAD and knowledge of ETP operations will support safe and compliant process

Qualifications

• Process analysis and identifying gaps to improve existing process performance.
• Knowledge of Scale-up activity, participate in Tech transfer activity.
• Basic knowledge of process package that include Mass Balance, Energy balance, hydraulic load calculation, Piping and line sizing, pump calculation etc.
• Basic equipment design, like Reactor capacity, Distillation column design, Selection of vacuum pump.
• Good knowledge of Mixing technology, Fluid mechanics and Chemical reaction Engineering.
• Aware with different safety requirement like HAZOP , JSA , HIRA etc..
• Able to prepare PFD , Block diagram and P & ID.
• Aware with Project management system, member of project execution team.
• Having knowledge of design software like Chem Cad and Auto Cad .
• Aware with SAP system.
• Fair knowledge on ETP operation.
