Job description

Role & Responsibilities

  1. Possess strong Product Knowledge, Customer Relationship Management, Problem-solving skills, Negotiation skills, Resource Management, Sales Proficiency, and the ability to collaborate and mentor junior team members.

Overall

  1. Responsible for achieving top and bottom-line results for the assigned geography.
  2. Drive market programs and increase market share.
  3. Appoint Distributors and Stock points.
  4. Appoint Sub-Dealers and Retailers under the Distributors.
  5. Ensure trade discipline, optimal mix delivery, and distribution metrics.
  6. Maintain market discipline, coverage norms, and administration.
  7. Build strong relationships with trade partners, influencers, contractors, and channel partners to ensure discipline, coverage, and administration.
  8. Participate in negotiations and close orders.
  9. Forecast and track sales for the territory.
  10. Map the territory and ensure coverage through direct efforts and dealers.
  11. Train and upskill team members for future Territory Manager roles.

Experience & Qualifications

  1. 3 to 8 years of experience in Wires/FMEG Sales.
  2. Bachelor's degree in any discipline; BTech preferred.
