Job summary

Aditya Birla Group's cement division seeks an Officer in Maintenance to maintain assets and ensure smooth plant operations across RMC facilities. The role focuses on electrical maintenance and data-driven decision making to optimize performance in a competitive market.

You will monitor electrical systems, plan preventive maintenance, manage maintenance records, and collaborate with vendors to maximise uptime and efficiency across multiple plants.

Job Purpose

Maintain assets and ensure smooth operation of plants.

The RMC Industry is highly fragmented and very competitive. As a major RMC player we face competition from other organized players and local players which makes superior service delivery along with quality products important for good margins. There is huge growth in infrastructure which opens up opportunities for setting up commercial and dedicated plants. The plant and its resources need to be cost effective with focus on maximizing capacity utilization. This makes it imperative for each plant to be efficient and profitable. The plant employees need to be focused and deliver high performance in each of their KRAs and accountabilities.

KRA1 Maintenance Management

• KRA1 Maintenance Management (A) Capture all relevant data pertaining to plant electrical maintenance such as electricity consumption/diesel consumption for gensets, power factor etc. for analysis at higher level
• (A) Ensure batching plant maintenance through timely calibration
• (A) Maintain electrical equipments, periodically review their availability and ensure un-interrupted power supply/gensets
• (R) Design and implement periodic preventive maintenance for plants and machinery and ensure vendors follow the mandatory safety guidelines
• (R) Ensure maintenance cost is in line with the budget
• (R) Maintain records of each mechanical equipment for maintenance history
• (R) Prepare planning and budgeting for electrical maintenance process
• (R) Track the life cycle of each of the spare parts
• (R,A) Ensure the maintenance of the machineries/instruments in the plant(s) allocated

KRA2 Resource optimization
