The role requires strong knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, POS transactions, audit procedures, and risk mitigation strategies. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in multi-store retail environments, strong investigative capabilities, and the ability to independently manage loss prevention activities across geographically dispersed locations.

Maintain confidentiality, objectivity, and accuracy throughout the investigation process. Escalate significant incidents to relevant stakeholders in accordance with company policies. Coordinate with HR, Legal, Finance, and Retail Operations teams for appropriate corrective action. Track incident closure and identify preventive measures to minimize recurrence.

Identify discrepancies involving shortages, excess quantities, damaged merchandise, or unauthorized stock movements. Coordinate with stores, warehouse teams, and logistics stakeholders to resolve shipment-related issues. Analyze recurring shipment discrepancies and recommend corrective measures to minimize losses.

  6. 6. POS Transaction Monitoring & Fraud Risk Assessment

Review transactions through SAP and Genesys POS systems to identify irregularities, unusual transaction patterns, and potential misuse. Analyze refunds, returns, cancellations, void transactions, manual discounts, promotional offers, and employee discount usage. Review POS exception reports and investigate deviations from approved transaction procedures. Coordinate with Finance, IT, and Retail Operations teams to validate transaction-related discrepancies. Recommend preventive controls to strengthen transaction integrity and reduce fraud exposure.
