Job summary

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) in Tamil Nadu seeks a finance professional to manage GST, TDS/TCS compliance, and related reporting.

You will file monthly and annual GST returns, reconcile ITC with GSTR 2B and GSTR 1/3B, and ensure eligible ITC is captured. Proficiency in SAP and ERP is essential for accurate postings and reconciliations.

Qualifications

• GST and TDS/TCS knowledge required.
• Experience with GST compliance and reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Office, ERP, and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file monthly and annual GST returns for all registrations.
• Ensure GST compliance per statutory provisions.
• Reconcile ITC per books and GSTR 2B; reconcile GSTR 1 and 3B.
• Review eligible vs ineligible ITC and ensure eligible ITC is captured.
• Post ITC utilization entries in the books.
• Prepare and deliver customer invoices, inter-unit/FIM invoices and e-way bills.
• Prepare MIS reports, compliance checklists and reconciliations.
• Handle TDS & TCS matters; reconcile with GL and TB.
• Prepare payment schedules; ensure timely remittance and SSC coordination.
• Posting of financial entries such as recoveries and non-PO transactions.
• Prepare GST & TDS schedules and related GL entries quarterly.
• Prepare replies to GST notices and deemed invoice workings.
• Other F&A activities as assigned.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Preparation and filing of monthly and annual GST returns for all GST registrations.
2. Ensuring GST compliance in accordance with Statutory provisions,
3. Reconciliation of ITC as per books and ITC as per GSTR 2B report, reconciliation of GSTR 1 and GSTR 3B.
4. Review eligible and ineligible ITC and ensure eligible ITC is not left out.
5. Post ITC utilization entries in the books of accounts.
6. Preparation and delivery of customer invoices, Inter-unit/FIM invoices and generation of e-way bills.
7. Preparation of MIS reports, compliance checklists and financial Vs Statutory reconciliations.
8. Handling TDS & TCs matters, including reconciliation with GL and TB.
9. Preparation of payments schedules, timely remittance and coordination with SSC.
10. Posting of financial entries such as recoveries and non-PO transactions.
11. Preparation of GST & TDS schedules and posting related GL entries on a quarterly basis.
12. Preparation of replies to GST notices and deemed invoice workings.
13. Other F&A activities as and when assigned.

Required Skills and Education:

1. Commerce Graduate.
2. 5-10 years of relevant Experience.
3. Sound knowledge of GST, TDS/TCS compliance and reporting.
4. Proficiency in Ms Office, ERP and SAP.
