Job summary

L&T Precision Engineering and Systems is seeking a focused Executive – F&A to maintain financial accuracy and compliance across essential finance functions in Mumbai. The role involves managing bank guarantees, reviewing BG clauses, and ensuring precise accounting of collections.

The candidate should have 3+ years in finance and accounts, with exposure to bank guarantees and reconciliations, and possess at least a commerce-related degree.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Commerce (M.Com) preferred; Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline required.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in finance and accounts, with exposure to bank guarantees and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Handle bank guarantees, including issuance, coordination with banks, and reconciliation of records.
• Review contract clauses and BG clauses to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Verify BG charges for each transaction against agreed rates and respond to audit queries.
• Ensure timely and correct accounting and assignment of collections.
• Review unclaimed collections and coordinate with BU marketing for resolution.
• Support quarter-end closing activities by ensuring accurate and timely closure of accounts in line with reporting standards and internal controls.
