Job summary

SIG Group is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician in Palghar, Maharashtra, India, to supervise installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of electronic equipment and systems on-site. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot PLCs and sensors, and maintain detailed records.

The role requires coordinating with vendors, ensuring safety compliance, and mentoring junior technicians while supporting engineering upgrades and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• Supervise installation, inspection, maintenance and repair of electronic equipment and systems.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Troubleshoot issues related to electronic devices, control panels, PLCs and sensors.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs and parts inventory.
• Coordinate with vendors for spare parts and specialized repairs.
• Ensure safety regulations and company policies are followed.
• Train junior technicians on SOPs and best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on upgrades or modifications.
• Prepare reports on equipment status and improvements.
