Job summary

Silox India Pvt Ltd seeks an experienced EHS professional to support safety programs across manufacturing sites in India. The role focuses on inspections, audits, training, and incident investigations to ensure compliance with EHS standards.

You will work under the Dy. General Manager - Safety, coordinate with operations and contractors, and promote a strong safety culture across plant personnel and contract manpower.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in EHS/safety operations in manufacturing or chemical industry.
• Auditing: supports internal and external safety audits.
• Process safety: basic understanding of manufacturing process hazards.
• Emergency management: supports mock drills and emergency response.
• Waste management: knowledge of hazardous waste handling.
• Facilities management: safety aspects of plant maintenance.

Responsibilities

Job Purpose

To support implementation and monitoring of safety programs, conduct inspections, maintain safety records and ensurecompliance with EHS standards across manufacturing sites under the guidance of the Dy. General Manager - Safety.

Principal Accountabilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Support implementation of safety training programs and emergency preparedness drills across sites.
• Maintain safety records, documentation and prepare reports for management review.
• Monitor safety work permit systems and support incident investigation activities.
• Coordinate with operations teams to implement corrective actions and safety improvements.
• Ensuring 100% EHS Compliance across dynamic manufacturing operations.
• Promoting safety culture among contract manpower and plant personnel.
