Job summary

Embarkgcc Services seeks a seasoned leader to manage and develop teams in Commercial Mortgage Servicing. You will work with senior management to shape business strategies and ensure risk controls, timely cash processes, draws, reserves, and payoffs are handled efficiently.

The role requires 10+ years in loan servicing with 4+ years in leadership, strong communication, and a proven ability to deliver results in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• Masters or Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline.
• 10+ years of loan servicing experience or equivalent.
• 4+ years of leadership experience.
• Knowledge of mortgage and consumer lending practices and regulations.
• Strong MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) skills.
• Ability to interact with all levels of an organization.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial for engaging with candidates and hiring managers.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement process improvements and risk controls within operations.
• Interpret and develop policies for moderately complex functions across lines.

SUMMARY

Job Summary: Manage and develop teams of individual contributors and managers in roles with moderate work complexity in Commercial Mortgage Servicing area. Work with Senior management to develop and execute business strategies. The incumbent should have hands on experience, in managing Cash processes, Construction draws, Reserves disbursement and Payoffs. The Leader must ensure procedures and controls are adhered to mitigate risk, Key targets are met, work distribution is effective, talent management, transformation activities and more.

Responsibilities

• Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within the operations functional area.
• Interpret and develop policies and procedures for functions with moderate complexity within scope of responsibility across business lines or functional areas
• Engage stakeholders and internal partners associated within the Operations area
• Oversee and guide a team of loan servicing professionals, ensuring they meet performance targets and SLAs.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, ensuring accuracy and timely execution of all loan servicing activities
• Identify and resolve any exceptions or issues related to loan servicing, ensuring smooth operations.
• Generate daily, weekly, or monthly reports on Team performance and key metrics, as well as provide data for ad-hoc requests.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize the process.
• Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
• Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals.
• Provide Quality customer service to internal and external customers.
• Establish performance standards, evaluate performance and train and coach staff.
• Make day to day supervisory or Tactical decisions related to the process.
• Providing Timely Feedback to the Team, Coaching and Mentorship.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• University Masters/bachelor's degree in business or related discipline.
• 10+ Years of Loan Servicing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training and education.
• 4+ Years of Leadership experience.
• Knowledge of all Mortgage and consumer lending, practices and regulations.
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) skills.
• Ability to interact with all levels of an organization.
