Job summary

Macquarie is seeking a Data Scientist to join our surveillance-focused Data Science team in Gurugram. You will drive end-to-end product ownership, deliver NLP models, and manage MLOps risk within an agile, collaborative environment.

The role requires 2–5 years in model development, strong Python/SQL/AWS skills, and experience with NLP. Prior experience in financial markets is advantageous as we manage risk and governance in iterative cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with strong academics in a quantitative field (stats/engineering/math/CS) required.
• 2–5 years in model development, Python programming and data analytics.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL and AWS.
• Experience in ML, especially NLP.
• Experience with trading in financial markets and investment funds is advantageous.
