Instarem India Pvt. Ltd. within the NIUM group is seeking an Executive - Operations to manage end-to-end delivery of forex products and remittance services.

The role combines cash handling, customer service, and compliance to ensure accurate processing and safe, timely service at branch locations. You will verify identities, manage cash balances, and liaise with branch and back-office teams to optimize workflows in a hybrid work setting in India.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+2; Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, or relevant field preferred.
• 1-2 years in cash handling, teller, or forex operations.
• Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of forex products, exchange rates, KYC/AML compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to plan efficient delivery routes and optimize workflows.
• Proficiency in fintech, remittance software, and MS Office/Excel for logging.
• High integrity and trustworthiness when handling cash and sensitive financial products.
• Reliable, customer-oriented, and able to work under pressure in fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

About the Role:

The Executive - Operations is a hybrid role responsible for managing the end‑to‑end delivery and handling of forex products, currency, and remittances. This includes delivering currency notes, prepaid/refillable cards, and remittance documents to clients, accurately processing forex transactions at the branch, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies. The role combines operational execution, cash handling, and customer service excellence while safeguarding financial products and maintaining data integrity.

• Manage the secure and timely delivery of currency notes, prepaid/refillable cards, remittance documents, and related products to clients at designated locations, while accurately processing forex transactions, including buying/selling currency, issuing travel cards, and handling remittances
• Verify client identity, collect required documentation or acknowledgements, provide professional and courteous service, address queries promptly, and elevate any grievances or delivery/transaction issues to the branch or operations team
• Maintain accurate cash balances, perform daily reconciliation of tills and forex inventory, handle cash safely, record all transactions in the company’s forex software, and ensure data integrity and compliance with internal policies
• Follow KYC/AML procedures, RBI/central bank guidelines, and internal policies; identify and report suspicious activity; adhere to strict security protocols during product delivery; and comply with road safety and operational regulations
• Plan efficient delivery routes, maintain accurate logs of deliveries and transactions, provide feedback to improve workflows, and coordinate closely with branch, logistics, and back‑office teams to ensure seamless preparation, handoffs, and overall operational excellence
• Minimum 10+2; Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, or relevant field preferred. Degree in Finance/Commerce is a plus
• 1-2 years in cash handling, teller, or forex operations; experience in product delivery or logistics is a plus
• Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Knowledge of forex products, exchange rates, KYC/AML compliance, and regulatory frameworks
