Job summary

Sun Pharma in Vadodara seeks an Executive-Analytical Development to drive method development, validation, and troubleshooting within cGMP-compliant regulatory frameworks. The role emphasizes instrument calibration, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.

The candidate will work with HPLC, GC and Ion Chromatography, ensuring proper training and adherence to SOPs, while contributing to QA and regulatory readiness in a dynamic R&D environment.

Qualifications

• M.Sc in Analytical Chemistry or M.Pharm Analytical or Pharmaceutical Chemistry
• Instrumentation knowledge: Balance, KF, GC, HPLC, IC, pH meter, UV
• Strong analytical and documentation skills
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Perform method development, validation and troubleshooting using HPLC, GC and Ion Chromatography.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP and regulatory guidelines.
• Calibrate lab instruments (Balance, pH meter, KF Titrator, HPLC, GC, IC).
• Prepare validation study protocols and calibration reports.
• Maintain ALCOA++ documentation and SOP trainings.
• Work with LMS, EDMS, LIMS and TrackWise for digital training.
• Record non-conformances and ensure safety procedures.

Job Description

• Strong analytical skills with a thorough understanding of performing analytical API activities in cGMP as well as Development Laboratory environments.
• Ability to work in compliance with cGMP requirements, ensuring adherence to current regulatory guidelines and established SOPs.
• Responsible to perform Method Development, Validation and Plant trouble shooting analytical activities by using HPLC, GC & Ion chromatography technique
• Responsible to perform the Calibration of Lab instruments like Balance, pH meter, KF Titrator, HPLC, GC and Ion Chromatography.
• To work as per cGMP and ensure its compliance as per current guideline and SOPs
• Accountable for preparation of Validation Study Protocols and Reports, Calibration reports, Documentation as per ALCOA++, SOPs Trainings etc.
• Systematic familiarity about digital Training and QMS tools like LMS, EDMS,LIMS & Track wise.
• Sound Knowledge about QMS activity like Incident and Deviations etc.
• Responsible to take training before execution of allotted work.
• Responsible to understand any non-compliance/event occur during execution of GMP activities
• Responsible to follow safety precaution as per laboratory procedure.
• Responsible for timely archival of document as per SOP.
• Responsible to ensure proper handling and disposal of waste.

• Technical Competencies
• M.Sc in Analytical Chemistry / M. Pharm Analytical or Pharmaceutical chemistry / science
• Instrumentation knowledge of Balance, KF, GC, HPLC, IC, pH meter, UV etc.
• Good analytical and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of MS office (Word, Excel and Power point)
