Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Sr. OpCenter MES Engineer 2 to lead advanced Level 2 support in GMP environments. You will resolve serialization, labeling, and connectivity issues within Siemens OpCenter MES and perform rigorous root cause analysis.

In this role you will mentor junior analysts, document validated processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure platform stability and compliant operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced Level 2 support for Siemens OpCenter MES resolving complex production issues.
• Perform detailed root cause analysis for major MES incidents and support CAPAs.
• Execute service requests, including data extraction and configuration updates under validation controls.
• Develop and maintain knowledge base articles and GMP-aligned documentation.
• Mentor Level 1/2 analysts to improve troubleshooting and reduce repeats.
• Monitor system health, analyze trends, and support platform stability.
• Collaborate with Level 3/4 teams and vendors for escalations and fixes.

Responsibilities

• Core Responsibilities and Expertise


• Provide advanced Level 2 support for Siemens OpCenter MES resolving complex production issues such as order execution failures workstation connectivity problems and serialization or labeling errors


• Perform detailed technical root cause analysis for major MES incidents identifying underlying causes and supporting corrective and preventive actions


• Execute approved service requests including standard data extraction controlled configuration updates and system aligned changes under validation controls


• Develop maintain and enhance knowledge base articles and technical support documentation in alignment with GMP and validation standards


• Mentor and guide Level 1 and Level 2 analysts to improve troubleshooting effectiveness and reduce repeat incidents


• Monitor and analyze system health performance trends and recurring issues to support proactive improvements and platform stability


• Collaborate closely with Level 3 site support teams and Level 4 vendors for escalations defect resolution and product level fixes
