Job summary

Bajaj Auto Limited is seeking a CAE crash analyst to join our Division R&D. The role focuses on virtual validation of full vehicle and structural components for crashworthiness, evaluating energy absorption and intrusion, and correlating CAE results with physical crash test data.

Ideal candidates have 4–7 years of hands-on crash CAE experience, strong fundamentals in mechanical engineering, and expertise in tools like Altair/Hyperworks, LS-DYNA, and Radioss.

Qualifications

• Graduate / Post Graduate in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institute.
• Clarity of engineering fundamental concepts.
• Understanding of FEA / CAE processes.
• Hands-on experience in structural explicit (crash) analysis.

Responsibilities

• Virtual validation (FEA) of full vehicle and structural components for crashworthiness.

Essential:

• Graduate / Post Graduate in Mech engg. from reputed institute
• Clarity of engineering fundamental concepts
• Understanding of FEA / CAE processes
• Hands-on experience in structural explicit (crash) analysis

Desirable:

• Post graduate in machine design
• Awareness regarding crash standards for vehicles

Competency Requirements

Technical / Functional

• Exposure to CAE tools / techniques
• Domain knowledge mainly Crash & Impact. Add-on durability / NVH is preferred
• Strong understanding of material behavior
• Knowledge of automotive structures (BIW, chassis, closures) and test methodology

Behavioral

Specific expertise required for functional area
