Role & Responsibilities

Events, Branding & Promotions

  • Brainstorming and implementing event plans and concepts.
  • Development, production, and delivery of projects from proposal to completion.
  • Delivering events on time, within budget, and meeting expectations.
  • Traveling for on-site inspections and managing events.
  • Obtaining permits.
  • Handling invoicing.
  • Setting, communicating, and maintaining timelines and priorities for each project.
  • Managing operational and administrative functions, including stock checks, to ensure careful delivery of projects and accountability for all direct and indirect losses.
  • Managing supplier relationships, logistics, and negotiations.
  • Being responsible for all project budgets from start to finish.
  • Managing branding and communication.
  • Ensuring excellent customer service and quality delivery.

Team Management

  • Providing leadership, motivation, direction, training, and support to your team.
  • Developing event feedback surveys, including for team members.

Reporting

  • Updating reporting managers and senior management.
  • Handling post-event reports and timely submission of event reports, including expenses and returns.

Lead Generation

  • Reaching out to new event organizers.
  • Communicating with target audiences and managing customer relationships.
  • Negotiating sponsorship deals.

Top Line Achievement

  • Achieving monthly, quarterly, and yearly results (volume & value).
  • Attaining targets.

Bottom Line Achievement

  • Supporting the manager and colleagues, monitoring competitor activity.

Cost Control Initiatives

  • Maintaining financial discipline, credit control, and policy adherence.
  • Implementing local budgets.

Support

  • Providing support to other divisional teams or strengthening connected processes.
