Job summary

TNS India Foundation is seeking a Program Specialist Training (EV Trainer) to mentor students in Electric Vehicle technologies. You will conduct structured classroom and practical sessions to build technical knowledge and industry readiness.

Role requires travel to partner colleges and training centres for offline sessions, and you will develop training modules, break down complex EV concepts, and provide mentorship to students while staying updated with the latest EV trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2 years of experience (freshers with strong knowledge can apply).
• Good understanding of Electrical systems, Battery systems, EV components, Electric motor control and EV technology.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel to partner colleges and training centres.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical training sessions to students on EV technologies and systems.
• Conduct training on topics such as: Electric motors / Controllers / Battery systems and battery chemistry / Power electronics / Primary and secondary harness systems / Wiring and power distribution systems
• Travel to partner colleges and training centres to conduct offline training and practical sessions.
• Design and develop training modules, presentations, manuals, and hands-on learning activities for students.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in EV technology, charging infrastructure, and vehicle software.
• Work closely with industry professionals and technical teams to ensure training content is aligned with current industry requirements.
• Create engaging and interactive learning experiences using lectures, demonstrations, simulations, and practical sessions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to students to improve their understanding of EV systems.
• Maintain training records, attendance, evaluations, and feedback reports.
• Support program teams in ensuring effective training delivery and student learning outcomes.
• Assist in program implementation, curriculum improvement, and industry-aligned training initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering


• Experience: 02 years (Freshers with strong technical knowledge can apply)


• Good understanding of: Electrical systems, Battery systems and EV components, Electric motor control and EV technology


• Excellent English communication and presentation skills (essential for delivering training sessions)


• Strong teaching, mentoring, and technical explanation abilities


• Comfortable travelling regularly to colleges and training centres for conducting training programs


• Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds


• Willingness to learn, adapt, and work in dynamic training environments
