Job description

IT Executive Job Responsibilities:

1. Configure the software of all computer systems and maintain sound knowledge of them.
2. Exercise activities regarding applicable shift processing and related end-user activity, ensuring a balanced and effective system operating environment.
3. Maintain the systems backup schedule regularly to overcome future problems.
4. Manage computer processing logs and documents, assisting in the maintenance of all run and procedures manuals for computer operations.
5. Work with programmers and systems analysts in coordinating the systems testing environment and problem determination for processing errors.
6. Provide ongoing computer center security and access procedures, maintaining related logs and records for company safety.
7. Maintain accurate records using pertinent software applications.
8. Monitor the operation of all systems and hardware.
9. Assist in providing data security and ensure confidentiality of information services.
10. Maintain a detailed understanding of work process requirements and data supply for application systems.
11. Maintain knowledge of applicable systems hardware and software configurations for all computer systems.
12. Monitor and ensure a balanced and effective system operating environment and end-user activity.
13. Maintain systems backup as scheduled.
14. Maintain processing logs and documents and all run and procedure manuals.
15. Assist in distributing prepared material.
16. Work with programmers and system analysts to determine and solve problems.
17. Maintain data communications configurations and assist in resolving end-user communication failures.
18. Ensure prompt reporting of unresolved hardware problems to the supervisor.
19. Perform duties assigned by the supervisor to a minimally satisfactory level and comply with all guidelines and work ethics.
