Virtusa in India is seeking an experienced ETL QA Consultant to join our data reliability team. You will perform ETL testing, data warehouse validation, and backend data checks to ensure data integrity across the pipeline.

The role requires strong SQL skills and a solid understanding of ETL processes. The position offers hybrid work with shifts from 2 PM to 11 PM, primarily based in Chennai or Hyderabad, and collaboration with cross-functional data teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in ETL testing and data warehouse testing.
• Proficient in SQL and data validation.
• Experience validating end-to-end ETL processes according to STTM documents.

Responsibilities

• Perform ETL testing, data warehouse testing, and backend data validation.
• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and STTM documents.
• Develop and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts for ETL workflows.
• Write complex SQL queries to validate data completeness, accuracy, integrity, and transformation logic.
• Validate source-to-target data, including record counts, data types, null values, duplicates, and business rules.
• Collaborate with ETL developers, business analysts, and data teams to resolve data-related issues.
• Prepare test execution reports, test evidence, and sign-off documentation.
• Support SIT, UAT, pre-production, and production validation activities.
