Job summary

Zensar Technologies is hiring for a data engineering role focusing on Informatica IDMC/PowerCenter. You will design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, ensure data quality, and optimize complex SQL queries. Exposure to cloud platforms and BI tools enhances data solution delivery.

The role requires end-to-end data flow understanding, scripting skills, and familiarity with version control and Agile practices to collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica IDMC/IICS.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines with IDMC services.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure or GCP cloud platforms.
• Strong SQL skills with complex queries and performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
• End-to-end data flow understanding and data quality controls.
• Experience with job scheduling tools and UNIX/Linux shell scripting.
• Familiarity with version control (Git/SVN) and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using IDMC services such as Data Integration, Mass Ingestion, Cloud Data Integration, Cloud Application Integration, and Data Quality.
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in writing complex queries and performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
• Strong hold on end-to-end data flow understanding.
• Implement data validation, reconciliation, and error-handling mechanisms.
• Experience with job scheduling tools and UNIX/Linux shell scripting.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git/SVN) and Agile methodologies.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills:
