Job summary

Elabs Infotech is seeking an experienced ETL Data Test Engineer in Bengaluru with 6-12 years of experience. The role focuses on ETL testing, SQL validation, and expertise in one of several tracks such as Python, Azure/AWS, TDM, IBM/Informatica/Reltio MDM, or Snowflake.

Key responsibilities include designing test scenarios for data pipelines, validating source-to-target data, and ensuring data accuracy across cloud data environments.

Qualifications

• 6-12 years of experience in ETL/Data Testing.
• Strong hands-on experience in ETL Testing.
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with source-to-target validation and data reconciliation.
• Strong understanding of data transformation logic and data quality validation.
• Experience with at least one of: Python, Azure or AWS, TDM, IBM/Informatica/Reltio MDM, Snowflake.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test scenarios for ETL, data warehouse, and data integration solutions.
• Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes across source and target systems.
• Perform source-to-target data validation and reconciliation using complex SQL queries.
• Validate data completeness, accuracy, integrity, transformation rules, and business logic.
• Execute end-to-end testing of data pipelines and ETL workflows.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and data quality testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts where applicable.
• Validate data across cloud platforms, data warehouses, MDM platforms, and enterprise data environments.
• Identify, analyze, document, and track data defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, architects, business analysts, and project teams.
• Prepare test scenarios, test cases, test data, execution reports, and defect reports.
• Support continuous improvement of ETL testing processes and automation frameworks.
