About the Role:
We are seeking an accomplished and driven professional for the role of Vice President – Fixed Income Portfolio Management. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in fixed income strategies, including analysis and management of government and corporate debt products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fixed Income Portfolio Management:
Lead the strategy, execution, and management of government and corporate debt products to achieve risk-adjusted returns.
Develop and implement fixed income investment strategies aligned with client objectives and market opportunities.
Ensure ongoing optimization of mutual fund, PMS, AIF, and fixed income portfolios. - Debt Market Analysis:
Conduct in-depth analysis of government securities, corporate bonds, and other fixed income instruments.
Evaluate credit quality, yield curves, interest rate movements, and macroeconomic factors to identify investment opportunities.
Monitor and interpret interest rate curves to anticipate market shifts and devise strategic adjustments. - Execution and Market Interaction:
Oversee efficient execution of trades through collaboration with large bond desks and institutional brokers.
Build strong relationships with counterparties, dealers, and financial institutions to ensure seamless market transactions.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and internal risk management frameworks. - Team Leadership:
Manage, mentor, and guide a team of investment professionals, fostering an environment of excellence and collaboration.
Drive team performance through goal setting, knowledge sharing, and professional development initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10-15 years of experience in fixed income portfolio management, with specific expertise in government and corporate debt products.
- Strong understanding of interest rate curves, bond markets, credit risk, and macroeconomic analysis.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics
- MBA, CFA, or other relevant certifications (preferred).
- Advanced certifications in portfolio management or risk management are highly desirable.
