Position - Lead - ESG & Sustainibility
Location : Mumbai
Function/Department : Hospitality Assets Mgt.
The Lead ESG & Sustainability plays a pivotal role in shaping how sustainability is envisioned, embedded, and executed across the Adani Groups hospitality assets. This role ensures that ESG principles are not an afterthought, but an integral part of every hotel’s lifecycle — beginning from concept development and design, through sourcing decisions, project development, pre opening readiness, and ultimately operational performance.
The purpose of this role is to establish and drive a comprehensive ESG framework tailored for hospitality assets, ensuring that sustainability considerations inform all major decisions early in the process. The position requires working deeply and continuously with design teams, project teams, operators, and sourcing teams to integrate responsible material choices, resource efficiency, environmental performance, social impact, and governance rigor into every stage of asset creation.
This includes shaping ESG‑by‑design guidelines, enabling responsible supply chain practices, advising project teams on environmental design strategies, supporting green building pathways, facilitating sustainability adoption during operations, and ensuring alignment with both Adani Group ESG standards and brand ESG commitments. Because these assets sit across multiple group companies and involve varied internal and external stakeholders, the role demands strong coordination, influence, and subject‑matter leadership right from the design phase to ensure seamless, consistent, and future‑ready implementation.
Overall, the role is central to building a hospitality portfolio that is environmentally efficient, socially responsible, governance‑compliant, and fully aligned with the Group’s ambition to create sustainable, next generation hospitality assets.
