Job summary

ECHELON CONSULTANCY in India is seeking an ESG Consultant to advise clients on Environmental, Social, and Governance strategies, align SDGs with ESG reporting, and prepare reports under GRI, SASB, and SASB guidelines. You will calculate GHG emissions (Scope 1, 2, 3) and manage EcoVadis documentation.

Candidates should have deep knowledge of ESG frameworks, ISO management standards, and strong project management skills.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks and sustainability reporting standards (GRI, SASB, TCFD).
• Familiarity with ISO management system standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Experience managing multi-site or multi-standard implementation projects.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on ESG strategies and identify SDG goals.
• Align SDGs with the company's ESG report.
• Prepare ESG reports per BRSR, GRI, SASB guidelines.
• Calculate GHG emissions per ISO requirements (Scope 1, 2, 3).
• Prepare EcoVadis documentation and online submission.
• Understand LCA and PCF concepts and document preparation.

Role Description

• The ESG Consultant will be responsible for advising clients on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategies
• Identify SDG Goals and aligning them with company's ESG Report
• Prepare ESG Report as per BRSR, GRI, SASB guidelines
• GHG Emission Calculation as per ISO requirements - Scope 1,2 and 3
• EcoVadis Documentation Preparation and online submission
• Strong understanding of LCA, PCF concepts and documentation preparation

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong knowledge of ESG frameworks, sustainability reporting standards (such as GRI, SASB, TCFD), and familiarity with relevant ISO management system standards (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Candidates should possess project management abilities, including planning, time management, documentation, and coordination of multi-site or multi-standard implementation projects.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, management, or a related field is preferred
• Candidates based at Vapi shall be preferred.
