Job summary

SAADAA, a fast‑growing D2C lifestyle brand based in Jaipur, seeks an ERPNext Developer to own development and integration across ERPNext, Frappe, and related systems. You will build custom DocTypes, automate business processes, and optimize performance by writing scalable Python code and robust API integrations.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of hands‑on ERPNext/Frappe experience, strong SQL skills, and will collaborate with Finance, Operations, and HR to deliver scalable solutions.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for an ERPNext Developer to take ownership of the development, customization, integration, and optimization of our ERPNext ecosystem, with a strong focus on the Frappe Framework. This is a hands-on development role requiring strong expertise in Python, Frappe, ERPNext, SQL, APIs, and database management. You will build custom applications, automate business processes, develop integrations, optimize system performance, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable technical solutions.

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

• Develop, customize, and maintain ERPNext and Frappe-based applications.
• Build custom DocTypes, workflows, reports, dashboards, server scripts, and business logic.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable Python code for automation and backend development.
• Develop custom Frappe applications and modules based on business requirements.
• Build and maintain REST API integrations and webhooks with Shopify, WMS, payment gateways, logistics platforms, and other third-party systems.
• Develop automation scripts for data processing, validation, reconciliation, and repetitive business processes.
• Perform data migration, transformation, cleansing, and validation across ERP systems.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting, analysis, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
• Work with BigQuery for data extraction, analysis, validation, and reporting.
• Troubleshoot application, database, integration, and performance-related issues.
• Optimize ERPNext/Frappe applications, database queries, and system performance.
• Develop custom reports and tools to support Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, E-commerce, and HR teams.
• Participate in testing, deployment, UAT, go-live, and post-production support.
• Use Git/version control and follow structured development practices.
• Maintain technical documentation for customizations, integrations, applications, and workflows.
• Collaborate with business and functional teams to understand requirements and convert them into scalable technical solutions.
• Work with external ERP consultants and vendors when required and review their technical deliverables.
• Continuously identify opportunities for automation, system improvement, and technical optimization.

WHO YOU ARE

• 2–4 years of experience in software development, ERP development, Frappe/ERPNext development, or a similar technical role.
• Mandatory hands‑on experience with ERPNext.
• Mandatory hands‑on experience with the Frappe Framework.
• Strong proficiency in Python and backend development.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and system integrations.
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational databases.
• Hands‑on experience with BigQuery is preferred.
• Experience developing custom DocTypes, scripts, reports, workflows, and applications in Frappe/ERPNext.
• Experience with data migration, automation, API integrations, and debugging.
• Good understanding of backend architecture, databases, and data structures.
• Experience using Git/version control.
• Understanding of ERP processes such as Finance, Inventory, Procurement, Sales, Order Management, and Supply Chain.
• Experience integrating ERP systems with Shopify, WMS, payment gateways, logistics platforms, or other SaaS tools is a strong plus.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to take end‑to‑end ownership of development projects.
