Qualifications

• 7+ years SAP S4HANA delivery in a business context.
• Strong SAP S4HANA Trade background including condition contracts.
• 10+ years ERP/TPM or commercial systems implementation in a global environment.
• Experience with TPM solutions (Salesforce TPM, SAP TPM, Xtel, Visualfabriq) and SAP integration.
• Strong SAP S4HANA SD knowledge and hands-on experience: Order taking, ATP, returns management.
• Master’s degree in IT or Engineering; fluent English; additional Spanish/French a plus.

Main responsibilities:

• Perform functional and technical architecture analysis, research, design, and development of functionalities, including integration with key applications, in an SAP ecosystem
• Contribute to architecture design reviews, to the product roadmap and product strategy definition in their area
• Develop a good understanding of Opella business processes and strategy through collaboration and regular engagement with key users and process owners
• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, break high-level requirements into details, and distinguish user requests from underlying needs, translating these into documented architecture solutions
• Document systems and process requirements through meetings, workshops, site visits, and job shadowing
• Collaborate with the development team to develop, configure, and implement the solution as per the product development standards to meet business requirements
• Support development team with resolution of blocking issues and interdependencies and provide them architecture and design guidance
• Collaborate with other ERP functionals and business analysts to ensure end-to-end process integration and consistency, ensuring coverage of operational, statutory, and legal requirements
• Business continuity comes first: in the event of a crippling incident stopping business operations, able to manage the resolution as highest level of support within the company in their field
• Contribute to AMS (application management services) activities: provide functional expertise for complex topics and challenge / validate solution evolutions proposed by AMS team
• Data Migration activities contribution and go-live preparation
• Contribute to continuous improvement by keeping informed on new functionalities available for Sales & Distribution area (Proof of Concepts / Prototypes)
• Update training documents & contribute to trainings for Sales & Distribution area

About you:

• Profile: 7+ years doing SAP S4HANA delivery in a business-oriented context, preferably in an FMCG global company
• Strong SAP S4HANA Trade background and hands-on experience: Condition Contract management for on-invoice and off-invoice models, Accruals Management, Payments Settlement
• 10+ years of experience in ERP, TPM, or commercial systems implementation in a global environment (multi-country deployment)
• Strong understanding of Trade Spend Management, Promotions, Claims, and Settlement processes.
• 5+ years of experience with implementing TPM solutions (Salesforce TPM, SAP TPM, Xtel, Visualfabriq) and SAP integration
• Strong SAP S4HANA SD knowledge and hands-on experience: Order taking (incl. EDI and CRM integration), Order Acceptance, ATP, Backorders, Export controls, Order fulfilment, Regulatory documentation (customer service), Customer Contact & claims & returns management
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Solid S4HANA configuration experience, ability to determine when to use configuration vs. custom code as well as good troubleshooting skills
• Ability to translate functional specifications into technical design documents, support the construction of efforts and cost estimates, and manage delivery the desired functionality
• Able to work on complex problems under pressure and deadlines
• Project management experience; continuous improvement skills and mindset
• Experience with multi-geography, multi-tier service design and management
• Good understanding of Application and technology Architecture
• Knowledge of agile ways of working is a plus
