Job summary

ESAB India is seeking an ERP Functional Analyst to support and maintain Infor M3 ERP across business operations. You will work with business users to ensure effective day-to-day ERP use, support ongoing M3 projects, and drive continuous process improvement across O2C, P2P, Inventory, and Manufacturing.

You will act as the functional liaison for ERP queries, determine issue types, guide users on processes, and participate in requirements gathering, UAT, and documentation to enable smoother

• 2–3 years hands-on experience with Infor M3 ERP.
• Experience in core M3 functional areas: Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Inventory, Manufacturing.
• Exposure to ERP project activities like requirements gathering, UAT, or end-user training.

Role & responsibilities

The ERP Functional Analyst is responsible for supporting and maintaining Infor M3 ERP across business operations. This individual will work closely with business users to ensure effective day-to-day use of the ERP system, support ongoing and future M3 projects, and contribute to continuous process improvement.

This is a dynamic role that will evolve with the organizations growing use of M3. The person is expected to be flexible, take ownership of varying responsibilities, and grow with the business across functional areas including but not limited to Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Inventory, and Manufacturing.

Serve as the functional point of contact for Infor M3 ERP queries from business users across all departments

• Identify whether reported issues are user errors or system issues and take appropriate action in each case
• Guide users on correct ERP processes, retrain where gaps are identified, and document resolutions for future reference
• Resolve issues within defined access and authority; raise and follow up support tickets when escalation is required
• Support M3 ERP projects as they arise including new module rollouts, process enhancements, and system improvements
• Participate in requirements gathering, user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and post deployment stabilization activities
• Assist in documenting business processes, test cases, standard operating procedures, and user reference guides
• Liaise between business users and implementation or technical teams to ensure clear communication and timely resolution
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and metrics, extract data and build the reports and dashboards for business visibility
• Identify recurring issues and recommend process or training improvements to reduce repeat queries
• Assist with period end activities including reconciliation checks, inventory validation, and compliance-related reporting.
• Work with end users to identify and analyze business processes, workflows, and opportunities for improvement.

Preferred candidate profile

• 2 3 years hands-on experience with Infor M3 ERP
• Working knowledge of core M3 functional areas such as Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Inventory Management and Manufacturing
• Experience supporting end users in a post deployment of improvements in ERP environment
• Exposure to ERP project activities such as requirements gathering, UAT, or end user training.
