Job summary

Millennium in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Equity Core Operations Specialist to join our fast-paced team. You will handle daily reconciliations, interact with trading desks and Prime Brokers, and ensure accurate cash and position reporting while mitigating risk.

This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive controls and improvements in a global investment environment. Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in equity operations, a strong grasp of equity instruments, and the ability to work

• Monitor intraday trade activity and resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure timely reporting of breaks on T+1.

Meet the Team

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on specialist to join our Equity Core Operations Team. This position requires deep expertise in Equity and Prime Brokerage Give-up flows, a strong control mindset, and the ability to lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Daily trade / cash / position / Market value reconciliations.
• Interacting with the trading groups and Prime Brokers (PBs).
• Cash management between different PBs.
• Intraday trade monitoring.
• Resolving position/Market Value/trade discrepancies.
• Mitigating risk by ensuring timely completion and reporting of all trade and position breaks on T+1.

What You Bring

• Overall experience 5 - 10 years.
• Experience in equity operations / support.
• Strong knowledge of financial instruments with emphasis on equities and CFD’s.
• A working knowledge of futures and options will be an advantage.
• IAQ level three qualification preferred but not essential.
• Ability to implement and maintain new systems, procedures, and controls.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
